Artist's Description
I love the place I live...it's so beautiful! I never tire of painting it and probably never will. This moment happened recently as the sun rose over newly fallen snow and I was lucky enough to watch it happen. As an added bonus, when I started to drive back down the hill, a bald eagle soared over my car (so, obviously, he wanted to be in the painting, too).

Welcome to my online web gallery! I'm a life-long, primarily self-taught artist who has gone through many transformations during my artistic journey. What started out as early childhood drawings on scraps of paper, slowly became something more. In my early teens I picked up the first paint brush and found my 'holy grail' for artistic expression. Although, I occasionally dabble in photography and still find great joy in drawing, painting remains my favorite creative outlet. There's just something magical about watching a blank canvas transform into something rich and life-like!
