Artist's Description

This is the first of my Belt Butte Seasons series. In 2013 I completed this painting with the goal of painting all four seasons of Belt Butte from different directions. It was a wonderful undertaking and I never grow tired of my home and the beautiful Montana landscape I have the privilege of viewing every, single day of my life.

What started out as early childhood drawings on scraps of paper, slowly became something more. In my early teens I picked up the first paint brush and found my 'holy grail' for artistic expression.
