I love to paint bison! They are such magnificent, powerful animals. When I began this painting, I wanted to honor the American Bison of the past, when they were wild, free, and herds were so massive that they looked like great brown seas moving across the plains.

Welcome to my online web gallery! I'm a life-long, primarily self-taught artist who has gone through many transformations during my artistic journey. What started out as early childhood drawings on scraps of paper, slowly became something more. In my early teens I picked up the first paint brush and found my 'holy grail' for artistic expression. Although, I occasionally dabble in photography and still find great joy in drawing, painting remains my favorite creative outlet. There's just something magical about watching a blank canvas transform into something rich and life-like!
